I have always had a more casual approach to running – never really managing to follow a regular training or event pattern, though I have never been without a pair of running shoes. This changed with the advent of Parkrun locally to me here in North Norfolk and I am now in position to order my 100 shirt! By the way, Sheringham Parkrun is a tough, hilly, beautiful course, should any runners be up this way on a Saturday morning.

Christmas Turkeys on the run – OSR Christmas Treasure Hunt

Overall Winners – The naughty list, we don’t know where we’re going

Congratulations to everyone who took part in the inaugural OS Runners Christmas treasure run. Nine teams with 30 runners set off to hunt down Christmas goodies and trophies hidden on a 7k route, take selfies and film a team singalong. Fun was in the air and even residents and dog walkers joined in. Fancy dress was encouraged and yes a map was involved, each team had to find the answers to ten festive clues and on a few occasions, take photographic evidence.
