The Poole Festival of Running is Poole’s biggest running event and is organised by Poole Runners. It’s a celebration of running held over two days with races for everyone including Children’s Minithons, a 5K charity run, our flagship Poole 10K road race and the Poole Half Marathon.
The 5k, 10k and Half Marathon take place on flat, fast and scenic parts of Poole including Poole Quay, Upton Country Park and the harbourside parks. The kids minithon races take place within the safety of Poole Park.
With family entertainment, food stalls and live music, there’s a great festival atmosphere!

Mizuno Endure24 is all about the teams, run as a pair, small team of 3-5 runners or a large team of 6-8 runners in mixed, all female or all male categories. At Reading over 3700 runners (the male/female split is close to 50/50) will run as part of a team. There is no need to worry about how fast you are, just complete as many 5 mile laps as you can in 24 hours. Most people will complete between 3 and 5 laps, many people will run much further than they ever thought possible. Running clubs arrive on mass, many fielding several teams and some with over 120 runners. Running has never been this much fun!
