The Romsey 5 Mile Run is set within the grounds of The Broadlands Estate, once the home of The Earl Mountbatten of Burma. The surface is mainly tarmac with a short distance of smooth hardcore. The course is 3 laps of the estate making it one of the flattest 5 mile races in the county and as such attracts athletes from further a field looking for a PB time. This running event is also perfect for first timers just starting out. This year we are celebrating our 10th anniversary at Broadlands.
The course is a single lap, covering Ryde, Puckpool, Seaview, St. Helens, Netttlestone, Seaview and back to Ryde.
The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.
SEAA Course Accuracy Certificate.

New Forest Runners running club invite you to compete with the best and enter their friendly New Forest 10 mile event. Put Sunday July 7th 2019 in your diaries and enter today. The race will be held, as usual, at New Park in Brockenhurst, in the heart of the picturesque New Forest National Park.
As in previous years, there will be children’s ½ mile and mile races on the grass around New Park, as well as a 3 mile fun run for children over 14 and adults. Entries for these races will be on the day only.
Given the good weather in past years, this will be a whole day out for you and your family. As well as a unique and special finishers medal; prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female runners, we’ll have age graded prizes; chip timing complete with a downloadable app so your friends and relations can track your progress; tea, coffee and cake; food from local caterers; a runners pub by Ringwood Brewery, selling local ales and soft drinks; New Forest ice cream; a bouncy castle; free parking; side shows and stalls and finally post-race massage.
