We were fortunate with the timing of the April handicap, as the ominous sky in the finisher picture shows …
BTW – if the picture resolution on this page looks poor, can I suggest using on firefox rather than IE.
There were 15 runners out, running anti-clockwise, which the general feeling is slightly slower than clockwise. This didn’t stop Owain though, recording a time 3:12 quicker than the previous month and in the process joining the sub 30 club.
It was also good to welcome RIchard Woodling on his first handicap and I would like to extend my thanks to Keith for escorting him around the course.
14 other runners joined him, including Jan Anglim, who didn’t record a time as she made a wrong turn on Romsey Road, but is still recorded as a participant (DNF rather than DNS). Unusually this meant we had no women finishers.

I should also note that Baz has retained his current consecutive attendances record having attended every event since last September. in second place are Keith and Mark A, who have both attended every event in 2016.
My thanks to Karen Connell for doing a cracking job with the timing, which left me free to take lots of pictures, some better than others. We also have the fortune of Baz’s abiity to take pics and run so there are some ‘on course pictures’ too.
