Handicap results and report October 2016

Well that was popular!

Well done to everyone who completed the October handicap.  We had 28 runners recording times, which is a record attendance.  In amongst that 28, there were 8 new PB’s, which is a joint record – extra big well done to Kat, Claire, Julie, Karen, Tim, Jason, Rollo and Matt.  As you will have heard Karen also took the all time women’s record, smashing Laura Metcalf’s 25:35 time from May 2015 to record 24:37 and is now the Queen of the Handicap.

Editing this picture took far longer than you would think given the outcome …

We had 4 first timers out, welcome to Steve C, Steve K, Joss and Shaun, along with a number of guests, many of whom had the same surname!

In other news, Baz retains his lead in the current consecutive attendances competition and extends the club record to 14 events, in second place is Karen who hasn’t missed an event since May 16.

Thanks to Tim we have lots of photo’s to share today.
